The Department of Laboratory Diagnostics conducts a wide range of hematological, biochemical and immunological tests, as well as highly specified investigations for the assessment of renal function. The organizational set-up follows the ISO standards for the quality of laboratory activity (ISO 15 189), with an automated and IT-integrated work system, which enables rapid diagnostics and delivery of results. The laboratory is included in the quality control programs implemented in the EU and is under regular external monitoring for the accuracy and precision of the tests.
